LARGE SCROLLED WROUGHT IRON HANGING BASKET.

Diameter of the bowl is 18" or 45cm and the overall diameter is 22" or 56cm including the scrolls.

Choice of Colours include Galvanised and Natural Rusted

Our Large Scrolled Hanging Baskets are hand made here in Wells, Somerset in Wrought Iron. They have a diameter of 18" or 45cm. The scrolls are extra to this diameter.

There is a wide choice of colours set out below with the prices.

Black, Green, White or Natural Rusted £ 21.95 (extra for galvanised undercoat on Black, Green or White is £ 3.50). All prices include VAT.

Hand Painted Verdigris, Etch Galvanised or Bright (silver coloured) Galvanised £ 24.95

We can supply a coco liner, which is brown in colour, to fit this basket. The price is £ 4.95. This is illustrated on the left.

If you are ordering other items in addition to our Hanging Baskets the normal delivery charge applies. This is based on the total order value and details are set out below and on the Home Page - see link below.

However if you are ordering a small quantity of Scrolled Hanging Baskets on their own we can offer the following alternative arrangement regarding delivery.

For orders of one or two Scrolled Hanging Baskets (with or without liners) add £6 for delivery charge.

For orders of three or more our normal delivery charges apply - see below.

DEEP HANGING BASKET 12"/30cm diameter

This is the our Hanging Basket with its
Coco Liner (Code GF371).

The main problem with the most popular smaller hanging baskets of 12" diameter is that they are simply too shallow and they simply do not contain enough compost.. This means they dry out very quickly at the first sign of a sunny day. Also most have a rounded bottom which makes it difficult to stand them easily on a flat surface.
Our "Deep" 12"/30cm Hanging Basket ( "The Best Hanging Basket in the Wold") overcomes both these problems. Firstly it is much deeper than the average hanging basket. The height from the top ring to the base is 6 1/2" or 16cm as against only 4 1/4" or 11cm for most popular round bottomed hanging baskets. This extra depth means there is far more compost in the basket to nourish the growth of the plants and the basket is far less likely to dry out.

Secondly the our Hanging Baskets have an attractively rounded shape but also they incorporate a small flat bottom so that they can be stood safely on the ground or a table.
